A Bridal Ser Towel Cake.

Towels may not be the most exciting gift in the world, but most couples setting up a home together need them. Instead of boxing and wrapping them, use a set of his and hers bath towels to a three-tier cake that doubles as a decoration at the bridal ser. This project isn't as complicated as the final product s it look, and requires no special tools. Everything but the towels is available at craft stores. Roll the first towel, jelly roll style, from one narrow end. the roll as tight as possible. When the first towel is fully rolled, place the other folded towel so the ends of the two towels overlap, and continue to roll until you have a wide round base. Pin the end in place with several small safety pins. You can tuck mini bath oils and other romantic toiletries into the folds of the towels. If you don't have a large platter, cut a piece of corrugated cardboard into a circle a little larger than the bottom roll.
